Expert Whistle Skills 2
Bouzouki Accompaniment
- The Aim of this course is to learn the basics of playing, such as irish bouzouki chords and chord structures, strumming and fingerpicking, counter melody and rhythm.
Intermediate Uilleann Pipes Technique
- In the context of four tunes, students will address ornamentation, learning more complex forms and attempt a greater density of ornamental practice.
B/C Accordion Foundations
- This course is suitable for those who already have a basic understanding of the accordion and will take your playing to the next level. You will learn ornamentation like Roll's and Grace notes as well as ten tunes.
Fiddle Basics
- This course is for the absolute beginner fiddler. There will be progression through fingering, bowing, tunes and ornamentation.
Bodhrán Basics
- This course is designed to equip the beginner with all the rudiments necessary to tastefully accompany traditional Irish music on bodhrán.
Piano Tune's and Accompaniment
- This course combines melodic tune playing and accompaniment and is aimed at the intermediate to advanced piano player.
Mikie's Masterclass: Piping Technique for the Whistle
- This course is an abundant study of technique, packed with many types of ornamentation. It is not only for the whistler but is relevant to the flautist and the piper too.
Tenor Banjo
- This Banjo Technique course introduces a wide array of banjo techniques including: triplets, slides, flicks, position playing, using chords as well as other techniques to improve the students playing.

Fleadh Tunes for the Irish Flute
- This course will feature dance tunes and slow airs that are suitable to competition playing.
Traditional Irish Song (English language)
- Most of the songs taught will be from the Irish tradition but there will also be a few songs from the English and Scottish folk song tradition.
Flute Foundations
- The course will enable the learning flautist to go to a local session and join in with confidence knowing that he/she will have tunes in common with other musicians.
Expert Whistle Skills
- The aim of this course is to discover and enhance the learners own playing style, and increase their confidence through learning and incorporating a wide range of ornaments.
Concertina Skills
- This course will address concertina technique, ornamentation (crans, rolls, cuts and droning) & the use of variations in tunes.
Fleadh Tunes for the Fiddle
- This course is for the intermediate fiddler. There will be progression through ornamentation, variation, phrasing, tempo, rhythm and tone.
Flute Progressions
- The course will enable the learning flautist to go to a local session and join in with confidence knowing that he/she will have tunes in common with other musicians.
Concertina Foundations
- This course will address concertina ornamentation, octave playing, chord playing and variation.
