Director of OAIM Mathew Curley says:
“Having communicated with Irish music learners from all over the world over the past five years, it is evidence that's what the majority want most of all is to be able to play in Irish music sessions. The idea of this new learning features is to give people all over the world a chance to feel what it is like to sit in the middle of the session, surrounded by great musicians. It is also to prepare them with a repertoire of well-known tunes to go and join in sessions if they happen to be available in their locality.”
